OTHER NO-TAIL'S
For some reason this season produced a few sparrows without any tail feathers. This gallery is just photos of those. There is a female sparrow that nests next to the No-Tailed sparrow in my other gallery. This one had babies. Then I saw a male sparrow without a tail. He doesn't come around that often, but when he does he is always alone. One thing I've noticed about the No-Tailed sparrow's have spunk. The male in this series of photos did grow a tail towards the end of the season. He has nested in a bird house in our yard for the past 2 years.
